Airport layovers are the absolute worse. Unless you're privy to the elite lounges, you know the struggle of trying to catch a few winks on uncomfortable airport chairs, the floor or next to a Starbucks.

However, it may not be so bad anymore.

First, they wowed the world by designing an apartment inside the Eiffel Tower and now, vacation rental site HomeAway is responsible for an equally awesome makeover - in the original flight control tower at Stockholm's Arlanda Airport.

The 380-square foot room that features plush interiors and some of the most magnificent views was designed by Swedish artist and designer Cilla Ramnek.

As much as we'd like to pack our bags and get away to Stockholm ASAP, the only way you can stay at this stunning loft is by entering the #HomeAwayArlanda competition.

Five lucky winners of the competition will get to stay in a HomeAway holiday rental in the cities of their choosing — Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki or Oslo along with three friends!

Check out a video of the stunning loft below.
