As one of our favourite Arab fashion designers, Elie Saab continually impresses with haute couture gowns fit for any red carpet (we can’t wait to see the Oscars dresses) and after showcasing his spring/summer 2018 collection at Paris Couture Fashion Week back in January, it was time for the Elie Saab Ready-to-Wear AW18 to hit the runway at Paris Fashion Week..as once again Elie Saab did not disappoint!
It was an autumn/winter collection of high necklines, winter florals and dark romantic shades, which in signature Saab style, still had lots of embellishment. From flowing floral dresses we can’t wait to show off in Dubai to embroidered jackets with beaded sleeves that are perfect for winter in the Middle East and pendant earrings we fell in love with, the collection was full of fringing, details and stunning creativity.
With a strong Victorian influence, we loved the intricate use of lace, subtle corset-like belts and decorated crystal brooches, as stylish garments took over the Elie Saab runway. With both outfits for day and night, we want one of each piece from the Lebanese fashion designer’s latest collection.
Here are our highlights of the Elie Saab Ready-to-Wear Autumn Winter 2018 show at PFW, with 10 chic looks we need in our wardrobes…
