HH Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, married Sheikh Suhail bin Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum at Dubai World Trade Centre on Wednesday.
Dubai’s ruling family celebrated with a grand reception and ceremony attended by the rulers, dignitaries, ministers and top officials from Dubai and the UAE. Including HH Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Sheikha Maryam and Sheikh Suhail announced their engagement in December, as members of the royal family shared their congratulations across social media.
The wedding occurred just over a year since Sheikha Maryam’s sister, Sheikha Latifa, married Sheikh Faisal Saud Khalid Al Qasimi.
Sheikh Mohammed was captured greeting the wedding guests in a short video posted from his YouTube account.
