She may not be royalty nor is she marrying a prince, but Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews certainly feels like the wedding of the season.

She was the unexpected star at elder sister Kate Middleton’s wedding to Prince Willian so it’s no surprise that Pippa is ready to pull out all the stops for her own big day. From the dress to the guests, here’s everything we know about her wedding preparations so far.

1. The Wedding Date

May 20, 2017 —The wedding of the year will be a low-key affair.

2. The Venue

St. Mark's Church Englefield, Berkshire is the chosen venue for the big day. The church is located near the Middletons' home.

4. The dress

Pippa has some seriously big shoes to fill in the dress department — and that’s because the world still vividly remembers her infamous figure-hugging Alexander McQueen white gown.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the bride-to-be and mum had a visit from designer Giles Deacon who was rumoured to be making her bridal gown after he was seen carrying a garment bag while leaving Middleton's London home in February 2017.

Deacon, however, denied the gossip. "Until things are confirmed it's just rumoured," he told Hello! Fashion.

5. The wedding ring

Pippa's engagement ring is a solid octagonal halo Asscher-cut diamond reportedly worth more than $250,000; just so you know what to expect from her wedding ring.

6. Guest list

The wedding is going to be a low-key affair with an expected guest list of 150 although some estimates expect 350 attendees.

The royal family, including Prince Harry, is on the confirmed guest list. But Pippa reportedly has a strict no-ring-no bring policy which rules out Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle’s presence from the wedding. However, according to recent rumours, Markle is invited to attend the reception (the best bit of the wedding) and attend she will.

Now, the next question is: Who is going to upstage the bride with her impeccable style - Kate or Meghan? Let the rumours begin.
